Yours truly was basically on the floor for the Xavier v. Kansas State game at US Bank Arena downtown this past Wednesday night. Big thanks goes out to Justin and Meredith Doellman. Justin had 15 points and several rebounds as Xavier spoiled Huggins return to the Queen City.
I’m very impressed with the Doellman’s as both Justin and Meredith work with students at the Vineyard even though the pressures of being a division one player and wife are huge. They were featured in a recent article on balancing married life and their athletic life... kudos to them for being such a great example.
On Thursday I had the oppertunity to speak at Kings High School in Ms. Sandra Thomas’ class on the fun topic of death, dying and divorce. Actually, it was a fun time and we got to talk through these issues that affect all of us in an interactive format.
This weekend is a big one as we start a new series on money titled “Bling”. It should be a great three weeks and stay tuned for a big announcement.
